In snooker the object ball is very important and a single ball focus must be achieved to start getting higher breaks.

As you get down to the cue ball before feathering make sure your aligned correct through the line of the shot before starting your cue action. once your happy start the cue action and make sure it’s in a smooth motion and not at different speeds. As you bring it you need to flick your eyes between the cue ball and object ball . On the final backswing your eyes should be solely on the back of the object ball and don’t lift your head until the final follow through  with your eyes fixed onto the contact position.

Don’t follow the cue ball as you will lift part of your body towards where you are looking,
